Recipe Mutton Masala

















Recipe Mutton Masala  To Eat With Kerala Parotta

Mutton Masala Curry is a delicious Indian recipe served as a Main.

---Ingredients:
1 kg mutton
3 large onions sliced lengthwise
2 large tomatoes sliced lengthwise
2 tsp ginger garlic paste
3 green chillies slit
handful of curry leaves
1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
salt as per taste
1 tbsp coriander powder
1/2 tbsp chilli powder
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp fennel powder
2 tsp garam masala
1 tbsp tomato ketchup
1 cup water
oil

---Method:
In a pressure cooker pour oil just to level the base.
Add the chopped onions and curry leaves and saute till golden brown.
now add the tomatoes, ginger garlic paste and sauté till tomatoes and completely cooked and start to turn slightly brown.
Add the mutton, salt and rest of the dry masala's and mix everything well.
Cook on medium to high flame for a while till mutton starts to brown slightly.
now add the ketchup,season well and add the water and close the cooker
Cook on high for one whistle and cook on sim flame for 25 mins.
Switch off the gas and allow to rest in cooker till all the steam is gone.
Open the cooker and cook till gravy thickens.
Serve garnished with coriander leaves and your choice of bread.
